Camp Flog Gnaw 2019 Featured Freshest R&B Talent, Thundercat and Blood Orange

Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles' largest and most historic home base, gets converted into an eclectic carnival for one November weekend a year at the request of hip-hop mogul Tyler, the Creator. Better known as "Camp Flog Gnaw," the annual music festival mixed with carnival games, rides, and food was started by Tyler, the Creator in 2012.

Similar to Tyler's personal style in music and fashion, the festival is loud, chaotic, colorful, energetic, and just plain fun. Each year, he meticulously selects a mix of new talent, established artists, and long-time legends for the lineup, mostly centered on rap, R&B, and hip-hop. You can find teenager Tommy Genesis, the late Juice Wrld, hip-hop hero Mos Def, and mystery artist (Drake) --- famously booed off stage --- all in the same lineup for 2019.

Devonte Hynes, or "Blood Orange," a talented English singer, songwriter, and record producer, performs at his first Camp Flog Gnaw. His music uniquely combines elements of R&B and electronica.

Grammy-winning Thundercat living up to his stage name, donning the feline ears. Despite not having released an album since 2017, he played an almost 1.5 hour set, pleasing the crowd with his incredible bass-playing prowess.
